18) Vitiligo
Vitiligo is a skin condition that results from the loss of melanocytes, the cells responsible for producing skin pigment. It is marked by patches of skin, hair, and mucous membranes that lose their color. Essentially, vitiligo causes areas of the skin to lose their normal pigmentation.
